The resonance of sorrow and decay is personified in the music of Ohio's Soma Flux. Formed in 2017 and consisting of Larry Durica & John Godshalk (both members of the neo-psych band, Floorian), along with Mark Robinson of the ambient project pSilo, Soma Flux sounds like a bull on acid in the proverbial china shop. Following their own muse, they combine the power electronics of Throbbing Gristle, the dark ambience of Lustmord, and the squalling feedback of Spacemen 3, into something original and mind-bending.

Soma Flux's sophomore effort is an album of dark menace and resonant cacophony which leaves listeners grabbing their headphones and asking for more. It's a voyage through space which might very well end in disorientation and  loss of comprehension.  Outstanding tracks include 'Prick' and 'Somatology'.

Soma Flux's debut album is full of ambient soundscapes taking the listener to far off places isolated from the real world and placing them right in the midst of a sonic assault. An aural treat of immense sound structures and trippy vibes. Dominant tracks: 'Disturbance (Atmospheric)' and 'Broken, But Clean'.
